A Different view of San Diego

NO one got SICK! I was a lil nervous cause I had never done anything like this before. Niether one of us is really scared of heights but we haven't experienced anything like this before. The helicopter was a pretty small one so the windows and all were surrounding us. It was amazing and so cool. Not scary at all! :) I would recommend this to anyone!

I wanted to make sure to post a few pictures from the helicopter ride so that others could see the view and the fun memory to have for Daves Bday. It was so cool to be up in the air and get a different view of San Diego. This is such a beautiful place to live and I am loving it more and more everyday.

We had a great pilot and he answered all the questions Dave had for him.

The ear muff things are the the best thing for your hair. :)

One of the best things about San Diego is to see this temple so often

just driving down the freeway. We live about 5 mins away from the

San Diego temple.

SEAWORLD! It was fun seeing it from up high cause I never really knew

how it was mapped out right along the water.

For some weird reason this picture makes me look pregnant.

Spring Training 2011

I really look forward to this vacation every year!! We always have so much fun!

Being in Arizona in nice weather

(for those of you who don't know what Spring Training is...its pre-season baseball games where all the professional teams go to AZ or FL to play games)

Dave is a huge fan of baseball especially the ANGELS and has been going on this trip for a long time. I have gone the last 3 years but I am looking forward to it every year to come!

Mike and Estee are our friends that we go with every year. Actually his parents live there and are generous enought to let us stay there.

The BIG 30!!

The Mr. hit a BIG milestone on March 13th! If you couldn't tell by my title he turned 30!

( i think he handled it pretty well ;D but seriously....time flllyyyyyssss....)

We had a little fiesta birthday party at our house with family that day. It was fun having everyone over at our place for the first time!

We are going on the 26th and flying over San Diego

seeing PETCO park (Padre baseball stadium), coronado island,

wild animal park and some other fun things.

Hopefully I don't get sick!!

On Saturday we visited this place to play a round of mini golf!

Too bad we didn't get the final score because of course I lost my ball on the 17th hole!

(not that I would have won anyway but maybe I didn't come in last)

Its days like this that I am reminded how much I LOVE living San Diego! I had my Utah family and friends in mind because right now the ground is probably white and 40 Degrees (Freezing!) outside! I definitly do not miss that in March! Not to rub it in. :D

Better late than never...

I have been wanting to start a blog for a long time now and finally did it! I can't say I will the best at it but I really want to remember things that have happened in our lives. Especially since we have been married and all the new/exciting/crazy/busy things that come with it! :)

I am terrible at remembering to take pictures and that was one of my goals this year was to document more things we do with pictures.

(My camera doesn't always have a place in my purse but my handy dandy iPhone does! So my pictures aren't going to be the best quality. Its a start for me, maybe my next goal will be to remember my good camera!)
